Critter Knits by Margrit Lohrer

I just noted Critter Knits on the top 100 free ebooks, over at Amazon today.

I've just taken a browse through the book so far, haven't made anything yet obviously.

But I did want to share this ebook here, while it's still available for free, that's why I'm posting this now. ;<)

All 4 and 5 star reviews (60) over at Amazon so that sounds like a good start.

The patterns are adorable from what I've checked out so far.

I'm thinking the Cat Wrap is a must and Mr. Cheddar, who is sitting on my lap, agrees!

Any critter-lovers out there who also knits, will definitely want to give this one a try.

Happy Knitting!

**PS: On a completely different topic, is anyone else having a problem with their link lists on Blogger? I can't add review links to my sidebar now, only text.

I checked the Blogger forums and I thought it would be fixed by now. **

Overall rating for this book: Very Good. 4 out of 5.

    1. Thanks Lorraine, this still hasn't sorted itself out, thought it might just revert back to link lists on it's own. BAD BLOGGER!!!

  2. they are awful cute. I wish I knew someone who would wear them....all my people are either a little too old or not quite old enough to get away with it.

    1. LOL, that's a hoot! Are we ever too old or too young for fun stuff though? I hope not. These designs all make me smile. :<)

  3. That kind of knitting is still beyond my abilities maybe one day...but they do look cute.

I found a new app called toggl, it's similar the the one that you reviewed the other week...and to be honest I am finding it easier to use. I did try the one you suggested, but took it off the PC eventually. Everyone is different, and has different needs I know..but this one seems to work really well for me.

    1. These aren't all that hard Jen. A lot of them are done in smaller sections and I think that's helpful when learning knitting techniques. Very well explained too.

Thanks for the app. suggestion. FB is working great for me, I'm using it right now actually. 3: 22 to my next 10 minute break. I did bump up me work times to 40 minutes though, as I found 25-30 a bit too short. 40 seems just right with a 10 minute break after that. I'm so glad you found one that works for you too. what a great idea!

  4. This looks like a cute book. Blogger has changed the way you do things in the sidebar. You have to include text with every image. It's crazy...I know!

    1. Diane, it's my review link lists I'm referring to. I did post a question at Blogger and there was a mention that they are working on this issue. But that was over a week ago. I really don't know why they mess with what's already working fine. Just like Google +, I find that a big pain to navigate over there. I hope WordPress doesn't follow suit with a bunch of changes too. I have my other two blogs with them and all is well over there. :<)

  6. In a way perfect for me, perfect could the outcome would be disastrous, come on G., don't say no, I can't even knit a scarf, but what would be handy is I wouldn't care that my cats would tear it apart lol

    1. Oh, that would be a sad thing, if your kitties wrecked a handknit item. I have to be careful with the Chedster here, sometimes he goes a bit crazy when there's a ball of yarn in the room. ;<)

    2. Well it would be worse for you considering that you are actually talented it would be a shame if The Hon. Ched tore it apart, sadly not my case...:)

  7. I have to show this post to my daughter. She's the knitter in the family. Many thanks.
